On 14 November 2024, a seminar dedicated to the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet was held for members of Dnipro University of Technology academic community. The event brought together representatives of more than 20 departments who are committed to introducing European studies into educational programmes and strengthening the integration of the university into the international academic community.
Mykola Trehub, Vice-Rector for Prospective Development of Dnipro University of Technology, and Artem Pavlychenko, First Vice-Rector, welcomed the participants and highlighted the achievements of our university in the context of the programme.
Lesia Doroshenko, International Projects Department Manager, and Jean Monnet Coordinator of the Center for International Cooperation, have spoken about the types of projects, open calls for the next year, and key requirements for participation. In addition, the speaker also shared practical bits of advice on developing competition applications. Also, Center for International Cooperation team, along with Oleksii Lozhnikov, project coordinator of Critical raw materials provision in the European Union, has inspired the participants with examples of successfully implemented projects and told how Dnipro University of Technology achieves positive results in cooperation with European partners. Implementing European studies is an essential step for Dnipro University of Technology, as it increases students' engagement and supports the university's European direction of development.
At the end of the event, a lively QA session was held where participants were able to share their ideas and suggestions. We are grateful to everyone who joined us! We hope that this knowledge will be helpful in the preparation of new Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project applications!
