Seminar «Recognition of Academic Mobility Results»

On 14 November 2024, a practical seminar was organised by the team of the Centre for International Cooperation for deans and deputy deans for international work of Dnipro University of Technology. The event's purpose was to systematise the participants' existing knowledge, help them better understand the process of recognition of academic mobility results, and review the latest changes.

The event was attended by representatives of all ten faculties of Dnipro University of Technology, the Interdisciplinary Institute of Continuing Education, and the Doctoral School interested in optimising internal processes of international cooperation. 

Vice-Rector for Prospective Development Mykola Trehub welcomed the seminar participants, emphasising the importance of international cooperation and sharing further plans for the university's internationalisation. 

 Representatives of the Centre for International Cooperation, Kseniia Tiukhmenova and Nataliia Holub, have highlighted important aspects of the procedure for recognising student results at partner universities during academic mobility.  

In particular, they were talking about: 

• Regulations that should be relied on during the procedure; 

• areas of responsibility of subdivisions of Dnipro University of Technology; 

• specifics of transfer of disciplines; 

• documents that accompany the process of recognising of academic mobility results. 

Yuliia Zabolotna, Head of the Educational-Methodical Department of Dnipro University of Technology, highlighted the importance of the procedure for recognising the results of academic mobility and encouraged the participants to engage in cooperation actively. 

The QA session format proved extremely productive: during the active discussion, key issues were identified, and a step-by-step plan for their solution was drafted. It helped to understand the needs of the faculty representatives better and ensure even more consistent recognition of international experience. 

The seminar once again demonstrated the willingness of Dnipro University of Technology representatives to improve internal processes that strengthen international cooperation and promote integration into the global academic community.
