PROJECT SUMMARY The main goal of Central UkrainianEDIH is to stimulate digital transformation, innovation and energy efficiency for the development of sustainable industrial regions of central Ukraine. The project will fulfill the goals of the Digital Europe Programme and contribute to the implementation of Ukraine’s National Economic Strategy until 2030. Central UkrainianEDIH has a wide network of regional partnerships, such as national polytechnic universities, a research institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The project aims to develop a digital and innovation ecosystem in Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, as well as to maintain close cooperation with other national and international EDIHs to stimulate digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public sector organizations in Ukraine as a whole. CentralUkrainianEDIH provides reliable High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity services and technology and innovation transfer in strategic sectors including energy, manufacturing, mobility, and the digital economy. It also supports the development of new start-ups, spin-offs and further businesses with national, European and global reach. In the next few years, it is planned to conduct detailed mapping in Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk regions and adjacent central regions of Ukraine and continue the development of a network of associated partners. |
