ROUND TABLE
On June 5, 2025, the round table "Innovation Ecosystem as a Driver of National Security, Post-War Recovery and Sustainable Development of Ukraine" was held at Dnipro University of Technology within the framework of the Central Ukrainian European Digital Innovation Hub (CentralUkrainianEDIH). ![]() The event served as an important platform for fostering cross-sectoral dialogue and consolidating the efforts of state authorities, local governments, high-tech businesses, higher education institutions and research organizations aimed at developing Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem and strengthening regional resilience in the context of post-war recovery. ![]() The main objective of the event was to establish effective cooperation among key stakeholders to support the development of an innovative economy, promote the implementation of digital and green technologies, enhance energy and economic security, and ensure the sustainable development of the central regions of Ukraine. These objectives are fully aligned with the strategic mission of CentralUkrainianEDIH.
Key elements of the programme included: - presentations of innovative solutions in the fields of energy efficiency, agricultural technologies, defense technologies, food technologies, IT, robotics, etc.; - new partnership initiatives and opportunities for cooperation between business, science and government; - a panel discussion dedicated to the development of innovation infrastructure and an ecosystem to support entrepreneurship;
- a networking session, demo zone and a tour of the high-tech laboratories of the Dnipro University of Technologies. ![]() Participants and speakers included regional representatives, leaders of leading universities, top management of innovative companies, representatives of technology clusters, and experts from various regions of Ukraine. The round table contributed to shaping a common vision of Ukraine's post-war recovery based on the principles of sustainability, digitalization and green transition. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation. ![]()
