On January 3, 2023, an online working meeting took place between representatives of nine Ukrainian universities and project coordinators of "Green Transition in Ukrainian Universities" under the NAWA program.

The main coordinator of the project is Mariusz Mazurkiewicz, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Dnipro University of Technology was represented at the meeting by Sergei Dmitrovich Prikhodchenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering for Computer Systems.

 The project involves universities such as Lutsk National Technical University, Sumy State University, Dnipro University of Technology, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Odessa National Polytechnic University, Khmelnytskyi National University, Lviv Polytechnic National University, as well as the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.

Wrocław University of Science and Technology is the main leader of the project, which, together with its partners, is facilitating the integration of Ukrainian universities into the European academic space.

 During the meeting, Mariusz Mazurkiewicz outlined the main goals and objectives of the project for 2023. The discussion focused on the development of economic prospects, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the context of green transformation. The Unite! community, which includes participating universities, supports regional development, technology transfer, and the application of interdisciplinary approaches in technical education. The project is funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange of Poland (NAWA) and aims to create an open innovation platform for the sustainable development of Ukrainian universities.
