PROJECT SUMMАRY

The main goal of the project is to prepare a new generation of professionals with innovative skills capable of effectively combining technical knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence with skills in the legal regulation of this technology, with a primary focus on ensuring security, studying the advanced experience and best practices of the European Union. Each year, 30 young and motivated second-level (master's) students in specialties 081 Law and 126 Information Systems and Technologies will have the opportunity to successfully undergo training in the elective course «Safe Artificial Intelligence: European Legal Dimension», which will be implemented at Dnipro University of Technology. At the same time, students will have a unique opportunity to directly familiarize themselves and apply innovative digital tools (Legal Tech) based on artificial intelligence in practice during their studies, research, and future practical activities. The project concept involves a multidisciplinary approach, covering informational, legal, and public-administrative aspects of the application of artificial intelligence technologies in both Europe and Ukraine. To support the implementation of the European Union's strategic cooperation in education and training and engage the wider public in understanding the integration processes occurring in Europe in the context of digital transformation, the project is focused on disseminating knowledge about the EU, its policies, role in digital development, and defining key values. In planning the implementation of this goal, the project envisions conducting a series of public initiatives, including annual round tables with the participation of experts in information technology and law, webinars for bachelor's students and representatives of the legal business, as well as an international scientific and practical online conference with a separate section dedicated to digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
