Scientific substantiation of rational parameters of mine hoist facilities of the new generation of flat traction bodies

Project objective: Development of high-tech lifting equipment of new generation with rubber ropes to improve the reliability and operational safety of mine hoist installations.

Project background: Durability of the hoisting ropes in deep mines is 6...12 months. The main reasons for the low period of the ropes are that they are operated in continuous contact with the groundwater, which causes metal corrosion and they directly interact with a drum winder, which causes them to mechanical abrasion. Remedy of these deficiencies is possible by applying the hoisting rope in which the system parallel coplanar cables in vulcanized with rubber shell. This rope cables are protected from contact with groundwater, with the working surface of the drum. So that they do not rust and are not subject to mechanical wear. The main idea of the work is to replace conventional circular hoisting rope on a flat - steel cord. Rubber-rope has a rubber shell that protects the rope cables from external influence and provides a significant increase in the life of the rope. Feature use of the hoisting ropes - they cannot be repaired in the presence of discontinuities. Consequently, the project focuses on developing a method for calculating the stress-strain state of rubber rope in its interaction with the elements of mine hoists, where there are significant contact stress and the cyclical nature of large deformation of rubber and establish effective control schemes technical state of war ropes, vulcanized into the rubber sheath.

The main advantages of lifting equipment with rubber- rope: significant (up to 4-5 times) increase durability of the flexible traction body; complete protection of steel cables rubber sheath from mechanical wear and corrosion, improved reliability through the use of traction body more reinforcing cables, exercise constant 24 hours a day) monitoring the integrity of rubber rope due to its new design eliminates breakage due to its destruction. Introduction of new lift systems will reduce energy consumption of metal and dimensions of the elevator installation, significantly increase the lifetime of lifting and balancing ropes, significantly improve reliability and safety of lifting equipment.
