Research of technological and operational defectiveness of technical systems, including probabilistic modeling of processes of formation of technological defectiveness

Project objective. Development of a complex of constructive and power methods of ensuring survivability that assumes the formulation of algorithms of a shaping of bearing structures according to requirements of optimum design of elements of structures for criteria of survivability, models of management of a resource and survivability in the presence of local damages.

Project background. Ensuring reliability and durability of already built construction designs, is one of the priority directions of modern construction. Determination of parameters and ensuring survivability (which includes durability, reliability, durability) of bearing structures demand complex statement and carrying out the researches concerning various aspects of design, designing, production, installation and operation of technical systems. In process of development of such systems the increasing value is gained by an assessment of large-scale effect - another one dangerous and unpredictable factor leading to destructions.

In this regard it should be noted that tension modeling in local zones of technological and operational deficiency will allow estimating quantitatively system margin of safety. Such assessment can be carried out with use of finite element technologies in one of the following statements: 1) the constructional material depending on its properties and environmental factors can mainly collapse according to the fragile or viscous scenario; 2) the constructional material is considered as a continuous or stochastic defective environment.

It is expedient to develop computing technologies for tension modeling in the damaged zones that, in turn will allow constructing probabilistic models of a tension in local zones of defectiveness.

Modeling of degradation of bearing structures will allow investigating their survivability in two aspects. First, estimates of time of degradation of each overloaded zone before total loss or essential decrease in bearing ability of a constructive element are possible. It will allow receiving an assessment of a resource on a complex of considered criteria. Secondly, time of degradation of each element allows revealing critical zone of a structure from the point of view of ensuring durability. Besides, existence of considerable number of changes of a condition of system before its transition to a limit state testifies to her increased survivability and property to resist to emergency development.

All aforesaid will allow to substantiate and formulate concepts, the principles, quality and quantitative indices of survivability and the related categories towards to details and elements of designs, the knots, bearing structures and technical systems as a whole.
