«4Ps4YOUth: Public, Popular, Progressive and Productive»

 

Between the 9th to the 13th of March, 2020 the student of Dnipro University of Technology Pinchuk Sofiia (group 035-18-1, specialty 35 "Philology", ETF) participated in the Evaluation meeting of "4Ps4YOUth: Public, Popular, Progressive and Productive" long-term capacity building project with the support of Erasmus plus programme of European Commission, organized in Yerevan, Armenia.

The project was coordinated by Armenian PR Association Scientific-Informational NGO. Among the participants, there were representatives from many countries, such as Armenia, Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, Georgia.

The aim of the project was to promote the capacity of youth representatives and to use public relations, communication and media in their daily youth work; to form constructive relationships with their partners and target audience; to make their organizations and daily work public, popular, progressive and productive, and to help participants to gain skills for empowering young people to be active citizens. During the Evaluation meeting Sofiia presented all stages of the university and its Student Council PR-campaign implementedwithin the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. Based on the results of these activities, a draft plan for the future joint project was developed. The participants also visited Loftanti-cafe and I am media studio, where they recorded a video addressed to the youth. Furthermore, there was a meeting with representatives of PicsArt company, that created a mobile photo editor of the same name.

Moreover, Sofiia successfully presented the international achievements of NTU “DP” and, in particular, the student self-governance among other partner organizations. The relationships betweenDnipro University of Technologyand Armenian PR Association Scientific-Informational NGO have been strengthened and further cooperation has been considered for the purpose of future international projects implementation.

The project "4Ps4YOUth: Public, Popular, Progressive and Productive",which had a final meeting in Yerevan, has left a variety of pleasant and cheerful memories, gave the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones, and encouragedcultural exchangeamong representatives of different countries.
