Where did you live (dormitory, rented apartment, hostel, other)?

I lived in the Studierendenwerk Esslingen dormitory. The conditions were comfortable: the rooms were equipped with everything necessary, and there was a kitchen, laundry room, and convenient study areas. I recommend future students to apply for accommodation in advance, as the number of places is limited.

Did you receive a scholarship for the mobility program? If yes, to what extent did it cover the minimum necessary expenses for accommodation?

Yes, I received an Erasmus+ scholarship. It fully covered the cost of accommodation in the dormitory, which significantly reduced financial expenses.

– From your own experience, what should a future mobility participant pay attention to first during preparation?

I recommend taking care of the documents in advance, especially the visa and health insurance. It is also important to prepare for the language environment: even basic knowledge of German makes everyday communication much easier. In addition, it is worth learning about the transport system and dormitory life in advance to avoid misunderstandings during the first days.

What unexpected challenges did you face during mobility?

The main challenges were opening a bank account, registering a place of residence, and adapting to a new learning system. However, thanks to the university’s support and the coordinators’ assistance, all difficulties were successfully overcome.

Briefly describe your expectations from the mobility program and whether they were met.

I expected to gain new learning experience abroad, improve my German, and meet people from different countries. All my expectations were met: I acquired valuable knowledge, discovered a new culture, and experienced a truly international atmosphere.

In which educational and cultural activities did you participate during mobility?

I participated in international student workshops, attended integration meetings, and joined cultural trips to Stuttgart, Tübingen, and other cities. I also attended university-organized events such as fairs, networking evenings, and cultural festivals.

What are your most vivid impressions from mobility?

I was most impressed by the friendly atmosphere in the groups, the high level of organization of classes, and the opportunity to work in multicultural teams. I also enjoyed traveling around Germany, meeting new people, and experiencing independence abroad.

Would you like to take part in a mobility program again, and if so, where?

Yes, I would very much like to take part in a mobility program again. Such programs are a great way to gain new experiences and learn about different approaches to education and cultures of other countries.

Would you recommend participating in a mobility program?

Yes. It is a unique experience that helps broaden horizons, make new friends, and gain knowledge that will be useful in the future.
