My name is Elizabeth Antonenko, I am the 3nd year student of the System Analysis and Control Department in the Dnipro University of Technology. In my university I saw an announcement about Erasmus+ mobility to Czech Republic, so I decided to make a try and sent my CV.

I had a strong desire to take part in exchanging program at Technical University of Liberec. First, I was interested in getting a high-quality education. As far as I knew, there is a modern approach to studying process at Technical University of Liberec, and a strong focus on practical application, so that it would allow me to get education in technical direction, which I will be able to use in my future career.

After receiving a positive response regarding my studies in Liberec, I have chosen the following subjects: Computer Graphics, Programming and Servicing of CNC Machines, Project I, Scanning and Processing of Industrial Data, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer. Although they weren’t directly connected with the field of studies in my home university, I still wanted to study these subjects because they could expand my knowledge of understanding different technology processes.

Unfortunately, because of the quarantine I went to the lectures directly to the university only for a month. However, the online learning was still as good as it was face-to-face. I am very grateful to the lecturers for providing us with all the necessary, accurate and coherent material supply, as well as informative lectures.

Studying at TUL allowed me to meet new people, make acquaintances from other countries and universities, learn more about the educational process in the Czech Republic and broaden the horizons in technical specialties.

As I mentioned before, I had not so much time to fully dive into a student life in Liberec. But I want to express gratitude to all of the Erasmus Student Network members, who made everything possible and even more to help us to find out more not only about the university, but about Liberec in general. I wish the situation was different, so we could spend time together more and create even more memories to cherish.
