The direct speech from the participant

Where did you stay (dormitory, rented room, hostel, other)?

I lived in a private dormitory recommended by the university. In fact, there are plenty of housing options, and the university provides a list of recommended places to choose from depending on your budget and personal preferences. It is important to check in advance the living conditions, cost, and distance to the university to select the most convenient option.

Were you provided with a scholarship for the mobility program? If so, to what percentage did the scholarship cover the minimum necessary living expenses?

Yes, I received a scholarship, and it fully covered the necessary expenses for accommodation and travel.

Based on your experience, what should future mobility program participants pay attention to during preparation?

The most important thing is to carefully fill out all the documents, meet deadlines, and follow the requirements of both our home university and the host institution. If something is unclear, it is essential to ask coordinators for clarification - they are always ready to help.

What unexpected issues arose during your mobility?

Overall, everything went quite smoothly. The main time and effort were required for bureaucratic and organizational issues.

Briefly describe your expectations for the mobility program and whether they were fulfilled.

I expected to gain new academic and cultural experiences, get to know another educational system, and meet people from different countries. All my expectations were fulfilled: studying was exciting, discovering a new environment and traveling were enriching. The most vivid impressions came from meeting groupmates and experiencing the openness of the international community.

– What educational and cultural activities did you participate in during your mobility?

I took part in various academic projects within my courses, where we collaborated with other students and worked on interesting assignments. For example, one of the projects was creating an animated short film, which allowed us to demonstrate creativity and learn teamwork with peers from different countries. This not only deepened my knowledge but also developed communication and collaboration skills. As for cultural activities, exciting events were organized almost weekly, providing opportunities to relax and meet other mobility participants. One of the highlights was a trip to a camp for several days, where we could feel like kids again, take part in team games, and simply enjoy the informal atmosphere.

Share your most vivid impressions from the mobility program.

One of the brightest impressions was the opportunity to travel and visit four other countries - Denmark, Sweden, Latvia, and Estonia. This allowed me to experience different cultures, broaden my worldview, and make the mobility even more eventful and unforgettable.

Would you like to participate in the mobility program again, and where would you go?

Yes, absolutely! I would love to go back to Lithuania or try another European country to expand my experience even further.

Would you recommend participating in the mobility program?

Yes, 100%. It is a wonderful opportunity for learning, traveling, and personal growth.
