– Share from your own experience, what future mobility participants should pay attention to first during preparation? Be sure to clarify how the credit transfer for subjects will be handled at our university at the dean's office. When choosing courses at the host university, familiarize yourself with the course syllabus and avoid choosing too difficult subjects, as everything will be taught in English, including specific terminology. Be prepared that during the first month of academic mobility, you will have to pay for everything yourself until the scholarship arrives, so you should have some amount of money available.
– What unexpected issues arose during your mobility? Visa issues – initially, there were problems with its processing. The issue of credit transfer for subjects at Dnipro University of Technology and attending classes. There were no other unexpected issues.
– Briefly describe your expectations from the mobility and whether they were fulfilled.Опишіть коротко ваші очікування від мобільності і чи вдалося їх втілення. My expectations were to gain experience communicating with foreigners, make friends abroad, study in English and improve it to C1 level. Also, to gain offline student experience, attend lectures, and improve my knowledge in my field of study. All expectations were fulfilled 200%.Моїми очікуванням було отримати досвід спілкування з іноземцями, знайти друзів закордоном, навчатися англійською мовою та підвищити її до рівня С1. Також, отримати досвід офлайн студентства, відвідувати лекції та покращити знання у моїй сфері навчання. Всі очікування вдалося втілити на 200%.
- What educational and cultural events did you participate in during your mobility? Kaunas Student Sell Games – chess tournament among universities in the Baltic States, we took third place with the team. Chess tournament at Vytautas Magnus University. Orientational days. Forum "Idea of Europe" with Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nausėda. Online course "Greenfluencer" at the University of Tartu. Cultural events organized by the student organization "ESN.
– Share your most vivid impressions of the mobility.? The most enjoyable part was studying, attending classes offline, interacting with students and lecturers. I was impressed by the teaching approach, the openness of professors, and the opportunities for personal development provided by the university. I really liked Lithuania as a country – it’s very peaceful and safe, with friendly people who are always willing to help, and Lithuania's support for Ukraine made it an ideal destination for my first Erasmus experience and travel abroad. It was always interesting to attend various events organized by the ESN student organization, where I made many friends from different countries and gained interesting international communication experience.
